Priorities Survey For Online Learners
The Noel-Levitz Priorities Survey for Online Learners (PSOL) is used to measure the satisfaction levels of online learners. As online learning programs have gained popularity, higher education has realized that students in these programs also have different needs, expectations, and priorities than on-campus students.
The first survey of its kind designed specifically for online students, the PSOL helps higher education institutions understand how satisfied students are and what issues are really important to them.
Transparency by Design institutions have chosen to utilize this tool as it directly addresses the needs of adult distance learners. A random sample of learners was used to report these satisfaction items on a scale of 1 (not satisfied at all) to 7 (very satisfied).
WHY IS THIS IMPORTANT?
It is important for you to understand how satisfied online students are at an institution you are considering because it may be one reflection of the experience you could have at that institution.
