Excelsior University offers generous credit transfer with most students transferring credit hours toward their academic programs. The Higher Education Opportunity Act (HEOA), enacted in 2008, requires institutions participating in Federal Student Aid to disclose institutional information for current and future students. The information on the regulatory transparency page is intended to cover the HEOA requirements. The following HEOA items are not applicable to Excelsior University:

  • Campus Housing
  • Entrance Exams – Excelsior University does not require SAT or ACT scores.
  • Fire Safety Report (this can be found in the Campus Security Report)

Excelsior University does not enroll first-time full-time students. The percentage of our part-time transfer students residing in each of the following locations during the 2021–22 academic year is as follows:

Excelsior University is a degree completion institution and does not enroll first-time full-time students. Of our undergraduate student population, in Academic Year 2021–22, 20.8% received federal, state, and institutional grants, student loans, and any other type of financial assistance the institution knows of that are provided publicly or through the institution. The institution does not offer alternative tuition plans.
