Craig Owens
Craig Owens, LCSW, is an assistant clinical professor with the UNE School of Social Work and has been teaching for Excelsior College as an adjunct instructor in health sciences for many years. Prior to joining UNE in 2014, Craig served in director positions with two of Southern Maine’s leading non-profit community mental health agencies. He has been in clinical practice since 2002 and specializes in crisis stabilization, trauma, addictions, and aging with dignity. Craig is an avid practitioner of narrative theory and the empowerment and healing this modality offers individuals, families, and communities.
