Kylie Ackerman, MSN-Ed, MS-NI, RN, CNEn is a highly skilled and accomplished fulltime associate degree (AD) Nursing Faculty at Excelsior University with a passion for student and programmatic success. With a proven track record of novel teaching strategies and student success methods, she brings a unique blend of innovation and analytics to the table.
Having earned a master’s degree in Nursing Informatics from Excelsior University, Kylie has demonstrated a commitment to continuous learning and professional development. She understands the importance of data-driven decisions and the ability to create innovative teaching and learning strategies to encourage student persistence.
Throughout her career, Kylie has successfully created a mini-podcast to engage learning “on-the-go” as well as collaborating to create NCLEX Success Sessions for those at the end of program. She is known for her innovation, critical thinking ability, and finding the positive in challenging situations.
In addition to her professional accomplishments, Kylie is dedicated to environmental conservation and serves as a commissioner on her local Conservation Commission. She believes in the accessibility of nature trails for all and protecting the natural beauty around us.
A dynamic and results-oriented professional, Kylie is poised to make significant contributions in nursing education as she is set to begin a Doctor of Education with a concentration in Nursing Education program in fall 2024. With a commitment to excellence and focus on student success, she continues to be a driving force in AD nursing education.
