Steve Carriere joined the Coast Guard in 1989 and for 27 years was involved in various emergency aid missions such as responding to 9-11 and hurricane aftermath clean-up efforts. He found his calling in emergency management, and after earning his degree from Excelsior, he’s gone on to join and make a difference with Team Rubicon, a volunteer disaster relief organization serving others in times of crisis.
