Lisa Lavigna

Dr. Lisa LaVigna is the Executive Director of Strategic Partnerships at Excelsior College, a nonprofit regionally accredited distance learning institution whose mission is to help working adults complete a degree. LaVigna has spent over 20 years working with adults who are changing careers or completing a degree. In her current role she works to build strong, mutually rewarding partnerships with academic institutions, corporations, and associations with the goal of building stronger workforce development programs and enabling adult learners to advance their careers. LaVigna has a Bachelors in Public Administration from the State University of New York in Albany, a MBA from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and a Doctorate in Management in Community College Administration from University of Maryland’s University College. LaVigna is also an adjunct faculty member in the School of Undergraduate Studies, teaching business courses.
