Marisa Iacobucci
Marisa Iacobucci lives in upstate New York with her husband and two cats, Emma and Lou. She is the proud wife of a veteran, supporting her husband through two deployments. She has a Masters in Library Science and was a public librarian for 26 years. In 2009, she returned to school to earn a Masters in Mind Body Medicine from Saybrook University and then a Masters in Social Work from the State University at Albany.
She currently works as a social worker and care navigator with caregivers of individuals with Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia. She loves research of all kinds and is fascinated and excited by the investigations going on in mind-body/new paradigm medicine. She teaches several courses for the Excelsior College School of Health Sciences, including HSC310 Writing and Communication for the Health Professions and most recently HSC402 Managing Stress.
