Obed Arango Hisijara, the featured speaker of Models for Social Transformation from Immigrant Villages webinar

In commemoration of National Hispanic Heritage Month, Center for Social Justice welcomes Obed Arango Hisijara, a citizen of Latin America of Mexican origin, photographer, social anthropologist, social leader, and professor at the University of Pennsylvania. Hisijara is also the founder and executive director of the Center for Culture, Art, Work, and Education (CCATE), a nonprofit organization located in the Philadelphia metro area. His lecture focuses on how the history, philosophy, education, participatory research, and resources of the Center for Culture, Art, Work, and Education have significantly contributed to social changes in the Philadelphia area.
